ERC-404 mechanics

ERC-404 is an experimental standard that pairs a fungible ERC-20 base with an ERC-721 NFT mirror under one contract: transferring a whole unit mints or burns an NFT in lockstep with the balance, while fractional transfers don’t. The result is native NFT liquidity — the collection can be bought and sold like a token, and an AMM pool gives the NFTs a continuous price.

Deployment

Shipped on Blast (an Ethereum L2 with native ETH/stablecoin yield): the NFT side launched on Mintify, and the fungible $SWIM side was paired with liquidity on a Thruster pool so the hybrid traded from day one.

My contribution

Implemented and shipped the ERC-404 project end to end — the fungible-plus-NFT token mechanics, the NFT collection on Mintify, and the $SWIM token with liquidity bootstrapped on a Thruster trading pool.
